Each workshop is designed to be:

Trying something new or just “being creative” can feel intimidating, but our workshops make it easy. Come learn how to safely experiment, learn some new skills, and leave with a handmade creation you'll be proud to call your own in a way that is safe and fun.

Every workshop teaches the core character design principles that professionals use to bring some of your favorite characters to life. You'll learn how to generate character voices, use color to shape personality, add personal details, and bring your new creation to life in a way that's uniquely your own.

Michael Schupbach is a renowned creature and animatronic designer, puppet builder, and creative director whose expansive career has brought to life some of the most iconic, nostalgic characters in entertainment and children’s media. You may not know his name, but chances are you’ve seen his work:
